NIAG Interface Group

TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE NIAG INTERFACE GROUP

1. TASK

1.1 The task of the NIAG Interface Group is to liaise with the CNAD AC/327 Life Cycle Management Group in accordance with their Terms of Reference, with the aim of providing industrial advice and viewpoints, as required, in the areas of:

1.1.1 industrial methodologies in support of standards, e.g. ISO/IEC 15288, 'Systems Engineering - System Life Cycle Processes';

1.1.2 industrial implications of NATO system life cycle policy and processes, methods, procedures and agreements developed by LCMG (for example contractual, financial, and management implications).

1.2 The group may also propose to AC/327 areas of work related to Life Cycle Management that would contribute to the furtherance of timely armaments procurement in support of NATO capabilities.

2. COMPOSITION

2.1 The group is composed of industrial representatives from NIAG delegations, with one member being assigned as group leader.

3. METHOD OF WORKING

3.1 The group will provide representation at AC/327 meetings as appropriate. 3.2 The group will meet as required under the chairmanship of the group leader and will seek support and contributions to their activities from NIAG delegations.

4. REPORTING

4.1 The group will report periodically to the NIAG Plenary on the subjects under review, the advice being provided and the outcomes being achieved.
